Vietnamese American Danielle Ngo doesn’t remember much about her escape from Vietnam. She was just three years old when she fled Saigon on one of the last American planes to take off before North Vietnamese troops took over the city. Ngo has since dedicated more than three decades of her life to the U.S. Army, giving back, she says to the country that saved her. VOA Pentagon correspondent Carla Babb has her story.
