FOX 5 Atlanta: Atlanta holds naturalization ceremony for new citizens
More than 50 people living here in Atlanta are now officially American citizens.
A naturalization ceremony was held this morning at Atlanta City Hall.
Families and friends of the candidates, citizenship and immigration officials and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed celebrated America’s newest citizens.
Mayor Reed said this event is special because it reminds us what a great and welcoming nation the United States is.
Reed continued saying he's happy that out of all the places in America these new citizens could call home they chose Atlanta.
