On December 07, 1941, Japan launched a devastating surprise attack against US forces in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt famously called it “a date that will live in infamy” and asked Congress for a Declaration of War, which drew the country into World War II.
