Last week, both Suwarna and Bhasker Banjara (formerly of India and Kenya) passed their citizenship interview with flying colors! They returned to class to encourage their fellow citizenship students in English, Gujurati, and Swahili.

Congratulations to the Banjaras. We know that you will be great American citizens!

Bhasker Banjara's Interview is based on the new US Constitution & Citizenship Week Interview Quiz 2015 http://goo.gl/hYaYg7 . He answers 27 questions from the N-400 and 10 of 27 questions from the USCIS civics test. At the end of the interview, Mr. Banjara, who was born in India and is currently citizen of Kenya, offers a few words of advice in Gujarati, Swahili, and Hindi about studying for citizenship.

These interviews were conducted at the Milpitas Library. Join us Monday evenings 7 to 8:30 pm for our weekly citizenship class.
