Help Us Test Our Virtual Assistant: Emma

Help Us Test Our Virtual Assistant: Emma

We’re excited to introduce the test version of Emma, our latest customer-friendly innovation.  Emma is a computer-generated assistant.  When complete, she’ll be able to help you navigate through the USCIS website and find answers to your questions. We’ve been inviting various groups to ask her questions so she learns more, and now we’re inviting everyone in the world.  We can’t guarantee yet that she’ll know all the answers, but the more you ask her, the smarter she’ll get.

Here is a recording of my recent "chat" with Emma.  She answered most questions very well, however the term "student" really sent her on a tangent.  I was particularly impressed how she was able to pull up the correct webstes immediately. Check Emma out!

Chat between Emma and Teacher Jennifer:

There are two different Affidavit of Support forms. The most commonly used is Form I-864. Form I-864 is used for family-based immigrants and some employment-based immigrants to demonstrate that they will have adequate means of financial support and will not become a public charge. Form I-134 is used by nonimmigrant visa applicants who are required to meet the public charge inadmissibility ground but are not required to file Form I-864. For more information on either of these forms select from the links below.View Page
