This year marks the 90th anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which gave women in United States the right to vote. After seven decades of activism, American women cast their first ballots in the Presidential elections of 1920. VOA's Ana Ward takes a look back at the women's suffrage movement, and at the role women play in American politics today. Amy Katz narrates.
